1a) If a student is having trouble logging into Clever or, please make sure the student is using the proper email address. For instance, if the student transferred into a D49 school from a charter school, the student should be using a @d49.org email to login to Google. If this email doesn’t work for accessing Clever, the student’s email may need to be updated in PowerSchool. School registrars can update emails in PowerSchool.
1b) Clearing your computer’s cache often solves connection problems.
Google’s cache is cleared as follows:
Click on the three vertical dots to the far right of the url.
Clicking on those dots opens this box:
Scroll down to More tools (about ⅔ of the way down) and click on the arrow to the far right.
Clicking on that arrow brings up a box to the left:
Click on Clear browsing data (in the middle of the box) which brings up this box in the Settings tab:
Only have Cached images and files checked. Then, click on Clear data. This lands you on the general Settings tab. You may close it and resume your work.
1c) If we can’t replicate a Clever problem, we will point to the above answers as possible solutions.
1d) Even at home, the student’s email address is the one to use to access Clever and its apps. The student’s password will be needed, too.
2) Please let us know if a student is having trouble accessing myLexia. We will need the student’s name and ID.
3) Teachers should have an Educator ID (EDID). To get one, please contact Dione Russell at 719-495-1198 or dlrussell@d49.org. She will need your SSN, BD, first, middle, and last name, and sex. Please do not transfer this information via e-mail. We provided her email in case you want to give her information about when to best reach you by phone. She will let us know to put the EDID in the system.
